Bye Bye Tessie

My name is Tessie, I live underneath the Discovery Ship in Dundee. I wanted a new adventure and the kind BEd Students at University of Dundee offered me the chance to go to Germany to visit some other teaching students.

It all happened very quickly so I am afraid to say I did not get much of a chance to collect pictures of my lovely city for you but I'm sure my friends at Dundee will send you pictures of their visitor around some of my favourite places.

Scotland, it's goodbye for now!
Germany...see you soon :)

Farewell Hamish!

Today, I said farewell to my friends and family to start my journey to Estonia. Before I left, I thought I would show what my life is like in Dundee. I spend my days at Dundee university and enjoy studying. I have a few pictures of my favourite places on the campus.

I love going to the library to read all of the books and learn.
The best food in Dundee can be found in 'liar' my favourite bar in the union.

Finally, this is the lecture theatre were some of my favourite lectures taught me everything I know.

I can't wait to visit and explore lots of new places.

See you soon

We are going on a bear hunt!

How can you learn about how other school teach and learn around the world?  Simple - through a bear exchange.  The students undertaking  the ICT elective in BEd 2, at University of Dundee, are getting their bears ready to sent to Teacher Education Institutes around Europe.  The students hope to find out about different cultures and pedagogies through the adventures of their bears.  Next week we hope to have our bears ready to send on their adventures.  Stay tuned to find out more.  (ST)
